Cornell Watson is a highly sought-out instructor and is open to accepting new students and guiding them in their pursuit to enhance their knowledge of Goju Ryu.

Hershel Sabeter
San-Dan (3rd Degree Black Belt)
Began his training with Cornell Watson in the Summer of 1982. Mr. Sabater has also studied the styles of Shotokan and Arnis. He has trained through-out Japan and the USA. By trade he is a highly trained Mechanic and Experienced Carpenter. Hershel has recently Married his long time love and training partner Maria DeMesa.

San-Dan Ho (Interim 3rd Degree Black Belt)
A Graduate of San Jose State University, Maria is employed by day as a Human Resources Manager at a major High Tech Company in the Silicon Valley. In the Dojo, Maria is well known for her wickid Kogen Geri (Groin Kick) and in our Dojo such techniques are allowed (with control). She has trained through-out Japan and the USA. Maria is recently married to her long time love and training partner Hershall Sabeter Sempai.

Philip R. Robinson II
Sho-Dan (1st Degree Black Belt)Philip R. Robinson II, received the rank of Sho Dan May 25, 1999 at the Age of 40 years old. A Husband and father of two, Philip began training in Goju Ryu shortly after Tracey (daughter) began training in 1995. Goju Ryu has been a terrific aid in helping to reduce the everyday pressures of working as a professional in the Silicon Valley. Philip also studied Tae-Kwan Do with his wife (Debra) and son (Philip III)
Anthony Sarabia
Sho-Dan (1st Degree Black Belt)
A resident of Southern California, Anthony began Goju Ryu training in 1988. Through some fortunate circumstances he met Shihan Watson in January 1998. Some of Anthony's other martial arts interests are Aikido and Okinawan Goju Ryu.

Brian Lerner
Sho-Dan (1st Degree Black Belt)
Another resident of Southern California, Brian Lerner is currently practicing as an Immigration Attorney. Brian started his training in Goju Ryu in 1989.

A Public Defender by trade (seems to be a lot of Attorneys in Goju Ryu now days), Mr. Bermudez continues his training, day in and day out, with enthusiasm and tenacity. You can find Mr. Bermudez teaching class on Thursday Evenings from 7:00pm to 8:30pm (unless he has to goto trial).
